The River sent 16 members on a missions trip to Santiago, Dominican Republic on Monday, July 18th. The participants will return on Tuesday, July 26th.  With God's favor and amazing dedication and sacrifice from alot of people, we raised over $29,000 in just under 3 months.  This is an awesome testimoney to the goodness of God and His children.

Ministry Itinerary (please pray accordingly as you are led):

• Monday (July 18th):

1. teams arrive and check in
2. dinner
3. orientation etc.
4. pray for safe travel

• Tuesday:

1. 4 teams do inner city march with hundreds/thousands of Christians to central monument in morning
2. park ministry (dramas, music, evangelism, etc).
3. Afternoon teams go to 4 different parks to do team evangelism

• Wednesday:

1. teams go into hospitals to minister and pray for sick
2. afternoon out in parks again
3. in the evening we join with Latin evangelists doing crusades in various zones of the city

• Thursday:

1. teams again in various parks and zones throughout the city during day
2. evangelistic services throughout the evening

• Friday:

1. teams again in various parks and zones throughout the city during day
2. evangelistic services throughout the evening

• Saturday:

1. 3 city baptism services for all who have made commitments to Christ
2. then city center outreach with music, dramas, skits, evangelism, clowns, doctor services for poor, etc.

• Sunday:

1. all senior leaders speaking in churches along with team ministry (between 7 and 9 groups)

• Monday:

1. Excursion day - fun at the beach

• Tuesday (July 26th):

1. travel day back to RDU
